We have been working with Pacina since the beginning of Indie, and it is one of the back bane estate
Pacina is located in the DOCG of Chianti Colli Senesi on the southern side of Castelnuovo Berardenga where husband and wife team Stefano and Giovanna cultivate and produce Sangiovese in harmony with their terroir, without technology, 100% organically, just as the estate has been for hundreds of years. The most striking and impressive thing about the couple is how completely tied they are to the ‘place’ and Sangiovese particular to Pacina. They speak about ‘Pacina’ as if it is a family member, or even the matriarch of the family. The convent on the estate dates back to around 900 A.D.. Giovanna is the third generation to care for the estate, and together with her husband Stefano who dedicates all of his time and passion in the vineyards and cellar, they also produce olive oil, Vin Santo, Chick Peas, Farro, vegetable and fruit gardens, as well as an agriturismo for guests to come and stay and enjoy the peace, beauty and awe inspiring history of the estate. We have been working with Pacina since the beginning of Indie, and it is one of the back bane estates of Indie Wineries. Once drinkers and lovers of Pacina, our clients never look back.
