The Burello is his older vine and longer aged version of his two Rosso Piceno’s.
Natalino is an animal lover to say the least... his farm embodies the definition, maybe more than any other of our producers; “an area of land and it’s buildings used for growing crops and rearing animals.”Besides his hectares of Verdicchio, Sangiovese and Montepulciano, he has olive groves, vegetable gardes, bee hives, chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks and a pond stocked with fish, finished in storybook fashion with one grand swan who has lived in Natalinos pond for years. Together with his farm animals, the vineyards are alive with wild boar, deer, hare and mini-hare. Burello is his ode to the mini-hare that live among the vines in this vineyard (named aptly after the animal itself). The Burello is his older vine and longer aged version of his two Rosso Piceno’s. Also one of only four wines (all red) that see wood ageing coming out of San Lorenzo.
